Fellowship promotes the establishment of relationships within our congregation and our community by focusing on events that bring people together.
Fellowship hosts a Sunday morning gathering after each service that features an array of treats and fresh coffee from Peets, Starbucks and a home brewed-favorite pot of Folders. The treat schedule allows for all tastes and likes – from children to seniors – to be appreciated:
First week of month: Healthy Treats
Second week of month: All your favorite carbs from bagels to donuts
Third week of month: Dessert treats rich in tradition and flavor
Fourth week of month: Our birthday celebration with cake and refreshments
Fellowship also works with other ministries to ensure that each event is full of flavor and fun. There are many opportunities to participate or to serve in this ministry:
Sunday Morning Coffee
Service times: 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Set up and serve; bake or purchase treats; providing welcoming spirit and enjoy visiting with friends old and new
Service: As Needed
Be part of the fellowship team that supports events for the Congregation and community
Annual Thanksgiving Eve - Pie Fest
Wednesday, November 22
Calling all St. John’s pie makers!!. Bring your favorite pie to share following the Thanksgiving Eve service. Hot cider, Cocoa and Coffee will be provided. Sign up in the Fellowship Hall if you can provide a pie. Contact Joe Goldstein for information.
Loaves of Love
Bring your favorite LOAF of baked quick bread to share with our St. John’s members unable to join us during this holiday season. Bread should be brought to the church no later than November 19. Sign up to deliver the loaves by Thanksgiving and make a new friend (names and directions will be provided). Sign-up sheet is available in the fellowship Hall.
